Only 3% of Aged Care workers have received promised bonus - industrial action on the way

A survey by the United Workers Union (UWU) showed that 97% of staff had not received the bonus and over 75% had not received any information about it. Applications toward taking industrial action will be lodged this week for over 10000 facilities in Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia.

Putin to accept rubles only for European gas payment

In a counter move to sanctions against Russia, Russian President, Vladimir Putin has announced that he will only accept Rubles in payment for natural gas exports. European leaders have dismissed the demands, stating that they have contracts that specify payment in Euros.
